JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sourcing and Product Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our supply chain by efficiently managing sourcing activities, negotiating with suppliers, and overseeing the product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and maintain a robust supplier database.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand product requirements and specifications.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Coordinate and manage the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to manufacturing.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and timelines.
Establish strong relationships with existing suppliers and explore new partnerships for strategic growth.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in sourcing and product development.
5-10 years experience in sourcing and product development within a supply chain or related field.
Strong negotiation skills and a track record of achieving favorable terms with suppliers.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and product lifecycle management.
Excellent project management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with international sourcing is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Experienced user in Excel and/or Google Sheet
