Summary
The job is for part-time virtual tutoring of ELA and/or Math for K-12 students. The tutors should be fluent in Spanish and English or have TOEFL/ELD/TESOL experience. They need to have daytime availability (8am-4pm Eastern) and experience teaching in U.S.-classrooms, comfort with Google Classroom and Zoom, and experience teaching online.
Requirements
- Experience teaching in U.S.-classrooms
- Comfortable teaching ELA and Math in Spanish and English OR TOEFL/TESOL/ELD experience
- Experience teaching online
- Working knowledge of Google Classroom and Zoom
Responsibilities
Provide virtual small group ELA and Math instruction to students across the country (grades K-12)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with remediation, intervention or small group instruction
- SPED or ELL teaching experience
- AP course experience (any APs)
- Active teaching credential
- Dedication to advancing equity in schools
Benefits
Pay up to $36.00 per hour of tutoring (on a prorated basis) plus a 10% bonus
