Summary

Fishtail is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer with 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience to join their remote team. The engineer will develop secure, scalable features for Fishtail's software in a fast-paced, mostly-async environment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years' experience of working on a Ruby on Rails Developer position
  • Profound experience with front-end technologies such as JS, HTML, CSS
  • Good experience of developing highly interactive applications
  • Good experience with relational databases
  • Excellent knowledge of object oriented analysis and design
  • Strong ability of writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related area

Responsibilities

  • Develop robust, scalable and secure features
  • Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
  • Participate at all stages of the development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech or logistics
  • Some experience with hotwire/stimulus + tailwind
