We started Clerkie in 2018 as an AI financial planner in the fintech industry, specializing in artificial intelligence and personal finance. Our goal is to make financial planning accessible to underserved Americans, as an estimated 60% want a financial plan but can’t afford one.

We use conversational AI to create financial knowledge graphs. These deliver personalized answers and actionable plans, helping individuals achieve their financial goals. For consumers, we help manage debt and money by negotiating debt, building credit, answering financial questions, and assisting with saving and budgeting.

We also offer a B2B automation platform for lenders that uses machine learning and human input to optimize loan portfolios. This platform includes:

• A Smart Payment Experience that recommends payment arrangements.
• AI-driven repayment and collection strategies to improve revenue.
• Real-time reporting and compliance capabilities.
• An easy-to-integrate RESTful API.

Security is a priority. We encrypt all data, use role-based access controls, maintain audit logs, and perform real-time security monitoring. We are expanding into B2B software with Clerkie Fiber, our CRM designed for the debt industry.

We are a team of 11-50 employees. We are a remote-first company; some roles are fully remote (US only), while others are remote-friendly with occasional visits to our San Francisco headquarters.
