The Staff Software Engineer* is the ‘go to’ person for technical advice and expertise for the team. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and expertise to help build ad verification, analytics, and anti-ad fraud solutions that deliver on the team’s mission of helping advertisers understand the quality of the ad opportunities they’re purchasing. Our team provides the tools that advertisers need to maximize their ROI by displaying the recommended targets for their investments.
*We can also consider a Senior Software Engineer possessing a commensurate level of experience across the required skill set.
The ideal candidate has a track record of architecting and building end-to-end software solutions, enjoys working in a collaborative and agile environment, and brings innovative solutions to complex problems with a desire to improve the status quo.
What you’ll do:
Architect, design, build and integrate our core products end to end
Lead the entire software lifecycle, including hands-on development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation, in addition to mentoring a team
Partner with the Product team and other stakeholders across the company to understand product requirements, gather business and technical requirements from clients, and research and develop solutions, including API development
Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, exciting, collaborative environment
You should apply if you have most of this:
BS in Computer Science, or related STEM degree
10-15+ years of hands-on full-stack programming with recent experience using Java and Javascript/TypeScript
Strong knowledge of Java (collections, multi-threading, JVM memory model, etc.)
Experience building high volume, low latency systems, and APIs
Experience building software used in the delivery and distribution of data across multiple platforms
Experience building highly scalable distributed systems
Experience designing and developing containerized and distributed applications in the Cloud
Experience partnering with Product and other high-level stakeholders across the company to meet business deliverables
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
New York Applicants: The salary range for this position is $126,000 - $216,000. Actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
