About the Role

In this role, you will lead the design and development of scalable, performant, and responsive user interfaces that power our trading, borrow and earn marketplace. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless experiences for retail and institutional users.

As a senior technical leader, you will help set front-end architecture direction, uphold high engineering standards, and mentor engineers to foster technical growth. This is a unique opportunity to influence the front-end foundation of a high-growth, fast-paced financial platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect, design, and build high-performance React applications that power trading experiences and dashboards.
  • Build reusable UI components and systems that scale across products and teams.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and execute on key product initiatives.
  • Drive frontend performance optimization, security, and maintainability.
  • Establish and uphold best practices in code quality, testing, documentation, and accessibility.
  • Lead large-scale technical initiatives, proactively identify architectural challenges, and propose scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to improving developer experience through tooling, CI/CD, and internal libraries.
  • Mentor other engineers and influence engineering culture through collaboration and technical leadership.

What We Look For

  • 8+ years of professional experience in front-end engineering, ideally building complex, high-throughput applications.
  • Deep expertise in modern JavaScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3; experience with TypeScript is highly preferred.
  • Track record of leading projects end-to-end—from design through deployment—in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of performance profiling, frontend observability, and browser rendering internals.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor other engineers and elevate team-wide technical standards.
  • Experience collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to create user-centric solutions.
  • Passion for crafting clean, scalable, and accessible UIs.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving projects in a startup or high-growth company environment.

Bonus if you have experience with:

  • Experience with crypto wallets and Web3 integrations (e.g. WalletConnect, MetaMask, Ledger).
  • Familiarity with blockchain transaction flows and client-side signing (e.g., EIP-712, ethers.js, web3.js).
  • Experience in financial products, trading interfaces, or crypto/web3 platforms.
  • Familiarity with frontend infrastructure such as monorepos, module federation, or micro-frontends.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Knowledge of security considerations in fintech or crypto applications.
  • Familiarity with design systems and tools such as Storybook, Tailwind, or Figma.

Salary

  • Compensation Range: $138,000 - $172,000
  • 25% annual bonus target, paid quarterly
  • Equity RSU package
  • This is the compensation range for the United States, actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience, location, or evolving business needs

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance with 100% employer-paid premiums for employees and their dependents on select plans
  • Company HSA, FSA, Dependent Care, 401k, and commuter benefits
  • Employer-funded life and disability insurance coverage
  • 11 Observed Holidays & PTO plan
  • Up to 12 weeks paid family leave
