Purpose: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Strategic OperationsBusiness Analyst to join our Medical Records team. The ideal candidate will collaborate stakeholders across the organization to support seamless business operations. Notably, this role will take point on documenting processes, creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and working closely with IT to manage enhancement requests. The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, testing enhancements before they go-live, generating Salesforce and Sigma reports, and performing various tasks to support our Firm’s objectives.

This position is remote; however, the candidate must be in Central Time or willing to work regular Central Time business hours. The compensation for this position will be a base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a discretionary bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with IT to identify, prioritize, and manage system enhancement requests. Document enhancement requests in Azure Dev Ops.
  • Develop clear and concise documentation for enhancement requests, including business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Analyze and document current business processes.
  • Create, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and use cases.
  • Design, generate, and analyze reports using Salesforce and Sigma to support decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Assist in the development of training materials for new technologies and processes and conduct user training sessions as needed.
  • Support project management activities including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in documenting processes, creating SOPs in Lucid Charts (or similar), and managing requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting tools and features.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of business process modeling tools is a plus.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
  • Three years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting, Lucid Charts, and Azure Dev Ops preferred.
