About the role
In this role you will act as the point person on critical corporate strategy and development projects, including high-impact strategic initiatives and end-to-end M&A and investment processes. Within these projects, you will work across all areas and teams in the company to manage projects that are critical to the operations and long term growth of Coalition.
Accordingly, we are looking for a highly talented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment to join our team. Candidates should have excelled in an investment banking, private equity, start-up, or corporate environment and demonstrated top quartile performance in their previous role. We are looking for a proactive individual who takes ownership over initiatives and drives execution with limited oversight.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to define and drive our long-range strategic roadmap
- Identify, evaluate, and execute M&A, investment, and partnership opportunities
- Project manage complex and time-critica execution: diligence, valuation, financial modeling, negotiation, and integration planning
- Build and refine frameworks for market intelligence, competitive analysis, and investment prioritization
- Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives across the business, working closely with finance, product, GTM, and operations
- Prepare board materials, internal strategy updates, and data-driven analyses for the executive team
- Effectively collaborate and communicate results and insights with cross-functional teams and to senior stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree. MBAs and those with advanced degrees are welcome to apply too
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience executing on M&A, capital raises, and strategic partnerships in an investment banking, private equity, and/or corporate role
- Demonstrated problem solving and project management abilities combined with impeccable business judgment
- Experience developing complex analytical models in spreadsheets and using presentation software to facilitate communication with senior stakeholders
- Strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex, cross-functional decisions
- Clear, confident communicator with executive presence and collaborative mindset
- Comfortable with ambiguity, resourceful, and highly execution-oriented
Compensation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,000/year in our highest geographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee’s pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Your recruiter can share more on target salary for your location during the interview process. Coalition, Inc. reserves the right to modify this range as needed.
