As a Windows & Cloud (AWS) SRE, you’ll play a key role in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure (mainly AWS), automating core processes, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our systems—with a strong focus on Windows Server environments. You’ll work closely with fellow team members and other departments (such as Development and BI), making a significant impact on our products and internal processes. We’re looking for someone proactive, with a strong technical foundation in the Microsoft ecosystem and a drive for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure following best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), security, and high availability (HA).
  • Administer and optimize Windows Server operating systems (including Active Directory, GPOs) at an advanced level.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate deployments and testing.
  • Create and maintain automation scripts (mainly in PowerShell; Bash is a plus).
  • Support and manage key platforms and applications, including BI tools like Pentaho and automation platforms like N8N.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis, mainly in Windows environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to set standards, improve processes, and support DevOps practices.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure security (certificates, KMS, WAF, Security Groups, etc.).
  • Administer relational databases like MySQL/MariaDB.
  • Linux administration experience (CentOS/Ubuntu) is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in system administration or similar roles (SysAdmin, SRE, DevOps), with strong specialization in Windows environments.
  • Operating Systems: Advanced and proven experience with Windows Server administration (Configuration, AD, GPOs, troubleshooting, hardening, clustering, etc.). This is a core requirement.
  • Cloud: Demonstrated experience working with AWS and key services (EC2, ECS, S3, VPC, Route 53, Security Groups, Lambda, CloudFront, WAF, API Gateway, OpenSearch, etc.).
  • IaC: Experience with Terraform.
  • CI/CD: Proficient in Jenkins for building and maintaining pipelines.
  • Scripting: Strong PowerShell skills.
  • Networking: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VPCs, Subnetting, Route tables, Security Groups, DNS (Route 53).
  • Databases: Experience administering MySQL/MariaDB.
  • Containers: Experience with Docker and AWS ECS.
  • Service Administration: Proven experience managing Pentaho – Kettle and N8N.
  • Security: Experience with SSL/TLS certificates, KMS, etc.
  • Languages: Fluent Spanish and English (international work environment).

Nice-to-Have Skills (Bonus Points!):

  • Experience with Linux administration (preferably CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Experience with Bash scripting.
  • Familiarity with other orchestration/configuration tools (Ansible, Kubernetes/K8s).
  • Knowledge of Python or other programming languages (beyond scripting).
  • Experience with other BI tools (Qlik, Knime).
  • Experience administering web servers (Nginx, IIS).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, InfluxDB, CloudWatch, System Center).
  • Experience with other databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch, MS SQL Server).
  • Experience with packaging tools (Maven, npm).
  • Background in high-traffic web environments.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially within the Microsoft ecosystem.
