  • Identify and respond to common technical and logistical blockers (e.g. email filters, login issues)

  • Promote AP-aligned resources and events, guiding teachers on classroom integration

  • Host or support webinars, onboarding sessions and “how-to” workshops for educators

  • Track and report engagement trends across schools

  • Share teacher feedback with the wider FT Schools team to develop content and product development

Skills/Qualifications/Experience

This role would suit an experienced US educator, programme manager or school-facing professional who is passionate about supporting teachers, confident engaging with schools, and ready to help students access trusted news as part of their learning.

  • Must be located in either New York or California during the timeframe of this position

  • Strong understanding of AP curriculum structures and school planning cycles

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging with educators

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage outreach and reporting independently

  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and/or online professional development delivery

Application Process

Candidates must submit a resume & cover letter by August 4th 2025. The cover letter can be in any form e.g. a letter, video or podcast. In the letter, we’d like to hear why you’re interested in the Teacher Engagement Executive role, what experience you have working with educators or mentoring young people, and what connections you have to schools, community organisations, or education networks. We’re especially interested in how your local insight and outreach experience could help us bring FT Schools to life in classrooms.
