We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead to drive technical excellence across our web projects. In this role, you will focus on guiding the technical aspects of the team, ensuring high-quality output, and leading innovation in development practices.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Guide developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices in software development.
- Project Oversight: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of web projects, ensuring technical quality and timely delivery.
- Technical Innovation: Research and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance our tech stack and development workflows.
- Architectural Design: Design scalable, secure, and efficient web solutions that meet project requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Support & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and optimise application performance and reliability.
Requirements:
- Strong technical background in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Proven experience in leading technical projects and mentoring developers.
- Ability to solve complex problems and articulate technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and modern development workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerisation (e.g., Docker).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong online presence in the developer community.
- Knowledge of additional PHP frameworks, advanced front-end frameworks, or orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
