Join HubSpot’s User Setup team to help our upmarket customers manage larger and larger numbers of users and teams within their accounts. This team is responsible for features that enable customers to configure, oversee, and optimize their users in HubSpot, so they feel absolutely confident in HubSpot’s ability to scale and adapt to their thriving business. The team aims to empower and delight admins so they can spend more time helping their business grow and less time trying to figure out how to get the most out of HubSpot.
You would join a talented set of teams comprising both frontend and backend teams and work with highly effective Product Management and User Experience teams. The team has direct customer impact as well as deep technical problems..
Responsibilities
- Grow their career in a dynamic, low bureaucracy environment.
- Like the idea of working on a small, customer-driven development teams of 3-5 engineers.
- Take ownership, work collaboratively, and figure things out
- Solve complicated customer and technical problems while understanding the trade-offs involved, yet still acting decisively
- Able to show pragmatic decision making and problem-solving abilities.
- Understand how we build and why for our customers.
Qualifications
- Are a strong senior engineer with some experience leading small teams
- Have a passion for writing code and reading code, up to 90% of their time
- Experience with JavaScript
- Can foster an environment that encourages autonomy and psychological safety
- Understand the value of building a diverse team, and are champions and upstanders for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives
- Enjoy mentoring and coaching other team members in a psychologically safe way, while also being open to learning from them as well

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Annual Cash Compensation Range
$165,500—$248,300 USD
