Job Summary
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing our testing strategy by designing and implementing automated test solutions that ensure product quality and reliability. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive improvements in test frameworks, create CI/CD testing pipelines, and promote best practices in quality assurance. This role is critical in enabling faster and safer releases by embedding automation into every stage of the development lifecycle and fostering a culture of quality across engineering teams.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Contribute with a dynamic team creating test solutions focusing on performance and system wide quality assurance;
- It is expected that the ideal candidate understands a broad range of Software Engineering Quality concepts and their applicability;
- Experience with automating tests with Python;
- It is expected that the ideal candidate will be able to develop and execute test plans based on detailed business requirements without superversion;
- Understanding of integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, with familiarity with popular tools like Jenkins;
- Conducting Performance and Load Testing;
- Participation in technical discussions with stakeholders;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate testing outcomes and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with Python;
- Proficiency with PyTest;
- Experience with Selenium with WebDriver;
- Experience with AWS;
- Experience with JMeter, Groovy Scripts, addons;
- Experience with Api Automation;
- Experience with SQL;
- Experience working with Agile Teams.
Highly Desirable Skills
- Experiencie or knowledge of SnowFlake, glue, airflow.
