YOUR ROLE AS WEB DEVELOPER WORDPRESS
We are looking for a skilled Web Developer with strong experience in both Drupal and WordPress to manage the seamless migration of an existing Drupal-based website to the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of content migration, theme and plugin development, custom module handling, and SEO/URL structure preservation.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze the current Drupal website structure, content types, and features
Plan and execute a full migration from Drupal to WordPress, ensuring minimal downtime and no data loss
Rebuild or adapt themes and custom functionality in WordPress
Ensure design consistency, responsiveness, and performance optimization
Maintain SEO integrity, including redirect mappings and permalink structure
Test all website features, forms, and integrations post-migration
Provide documentation and post-migration support
3+ years of experience in web development, with proven expertise in both Drupal and WordPress
Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL
Experience with Drupal 7/8/9 and WordPress CMS
Familiarity with custom theme and plugin development
Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization
Experience with Git, staging environments, and deployment pipelines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and project documentation
