About Us

AccelOne provides custom software development and design services for companies across the U.S. and Latin America. Built on core principles of transparency, communication, and accountability, we deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that support our clientsโ€™ long-term success.

About the Project

Our client is a U.S.-based leader in digital experience personalization. Their platform powers real-time, data-driven experiences for top global retail and e-commerce brands. Operating at scale across international markets, they leverage advanced analytics and decisioning engines to optimize customer engagement and performance.

As part of a new expansion phase, the client is adding native mobile capabilities to strengthen cross-channel personalization and deliver richer customer experiences across iOS and Android.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer with strong, hands-on experience in both native iOS and Android development.

This is a hybrid and highly technical role ideal for a developer who is comfortable owning end-to-end mobile featuresโ€”from architecture to deploymentโ€”within a fast-paced, data-driven ecosystem.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, UX, Data, and Professional Services) to build high-quality mobile components that integrate seamlessly with the client’s personalization engine and backend systems.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving, clean architecture, and bridging the gap between mobile development and large-scale backend services.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain native mobile applications for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin/Java).

  • Build performant, modular, and well-tested mobile features aligned with product requirements.

  • Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs, personalization engines, and data workflows.

  • Ensure consistent UI/UX and platform-specific best practices across iOS and Android.

  • Write clean, maintainable, reusable code with a strong focus on scalability and reliability.

  • Collaborate with Product, UX, Data, and Engineering teams throughout the SDLC.

  • Break down complex requirements into independent technical tasks.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical design discussions.

  • Research and integrate modern mobile frameworks, libraries, and engineering best practices.

  • Optimize app performance, loading times, memory usage, and battery consumption.

  • Ensure application stability across multiple devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in professional mobile development.

  • Strong proficiency in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android).

  • Experience building and publishing apps in the App Store and/or Google Play.

  • Deep understanding of native mobile architectures, patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture), and SDKs.

  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and mobile networking stacks.

  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

  • Familiarity with mobile CI/CD, testing frameworks, and automated pipelines.

  • Experience collaborating with distributed teams in Agile environments.

  • Strong communication skills and English fluency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in personalization platforms, data-driven mobile features, or large-scale consumer apps.

  • Knowledge of mobile analytics, deep linking, push notifications, and A/B testing frameworks.

  • Familiarity with AWS, Firebase, Cloud Functions, or similar cloud/mobile infrastructure.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools for mobile (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions).

  • Exposure to UX principles and mobile component design.

What We Offer

  • 100% Remote Work across LATAM.

  • Competitive compensation aligned with seniority and technical depth.

  • Opportunities for continuous learning: certifications, workshops, and training programs.

  • A collaborative, transparent, and people-first culture.

  • The chance to contribute to a major global-scale personalization platform.
