The EV market is moving fast, and so are we. That’s why we’re looking for a Technical Project Manager who will ensure the installation of new high-power charging stations in Italy.
About the role
In this role you will be working closely with out Network Development and Network Operations team. This is what you will primarily be doing:
Identify, assess, and develop new charging sites in close collaboration with the Network Development and Site Design teams, including commercial feasibility and business case evaluation.
Negotiate and finalize site agreements and commercial conditions with landowners, partners, and municipalities, in line with Allego’s investment and return requirements.
Assess the deployment concept of charging sites and evaluate overall project feasibility, considering technical, regulatory, grid, and commercial constraints.
Plan and manage all project phases end-to-end: design, permitting, procurement, grid connection, construction, installation, and commissioning
Coordinate and steer all internal and external stakeholders, including landowners, business partners, grid operators, engineering firms, installation partners, hardware suppliers, and local authorities.
Act as single point of accountability for the rollout of new sites, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, costs, and deliverables.
Supervise and manage external engineering and installation partners, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
Proactively identify project risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies, and implement mitigation measures to ensure smooth delivery.
Ensure compliance with Allego’s quality, safety, and technical standards throughout the full installation and commissioning process.
Requirements
Your Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Electrical) Engineering.
Holder of a valid driver’s license.
Relevant working experience in the energy industry, preferably in the EV-charging industry.
Strong project management skills, including planning and coordination of multiple stakeholders and project simultaneously.
Fluent in Italian and English to facilitate communication with international teams.
Willing to travel regularly (on average once per week).
