Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proven operations leader to own the end-to-end Events and Transcripts process, ensuring timely capture of live event audio and delivery of high-quality transcripts in near real time. This role is responsible for building and scaling operational processes that cover the full lifecycle from identifying and capturing event information, event audio, managing transcription workflows, and driving real-time transcript publishing, to maintaining quality, speed, and reliability at scale.

About the Team:

This team is working to expand AlphaSense’s content offering and support the needs of our clients. The team identifies and monitors relevant corporate events, captures high-quality audio, manages transcript generation, and continuously improves turnaround time, coverage, and accuracy.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Own the full lifecycle of event content operations: event identification and tracking → audio capture → transcription → editing → publishing

  • Ensure maximum coverage of relevant live events with minimal misses and industry-leading timeliness and quality

  • Lead and manage team leads, editors, and content analysts

  • Drive hiring, workforce planning, and shift planning for time-zone and live-event coverage

  • Establish monitoring mechanisms to ensure live audio capture happens on time

  • Design and standardize workflows across event tracking, capture, editing, and publishing

  • Implement QA frameworks to monitor transcript accuracy and completeness

  • Use data and reporting to identify trends, training needs, and process gaps

  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to improve tools and workflows

  • Develop and implement systems to measure team and individual performance

  • Ensure adherence to content usage policies and data confidentiality standards

  • Build contingency plans to mitigate risks related to missed events or technical failures

  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, compliance standards, and data confidentiality requirements

Candidate Requirements:

  • Possesses outstanding ability to drive and inspire teams for optimal performance, while consistently seeking to ever-improve people, processes, technology/AI and tooling to increase efficiencies, timeliness, quality, coverage, throughput - always striving to be best in class.

  • Very curious about technology and AI and welcome and/or suggest new ways of leveraging both to optimize operations

  • Detailed at performance measurement, compilation and reporting of related metrics and execution against OKR’s

  • Strong experience in live content operations, transcripts, or time-sensitive editorial workflows

  • Proven track record of managing large operational teams, including managers or team leads

  • Deep understanding of real-time or near-real-time content delivery environments

  • Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven operations with strong SLA ownership

  • Experience with workflow optimization and operational scaling

  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort using metrics to drive decisions

  • Deep familiarity with transcription workflows, audio capture processes, and AI-assisted tools preferred

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and operational reporting tools

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
