About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to lead our growing team. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and be comfortable working in a very fast paced environment. Teamwork is key to coordinate customer-focused activities internally within the organization. This role requires you to be a self-starter with a strong bias for action.
A Day in The Life of Our Software Architect:
- Contribute to evolving system architecture to meet business and customer needs
- Successfully manage the daily challenges of a technical environment and guide the team in resolving technical issues.
- Manage and drive complex technical projects from the planning stage through execution.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices and effectively manage the technical debt
- Continuously increase team members technical knowledge via mentoring and training including obtaining the appropriate certifications
Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:
- 10+ years working on a commercial web platform tech stack
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, DevOps engineer, or similar role, including experience taking a leading role in significant technical projects
- 2+ years experience in leading team of developers
- Experience with a modern front-end framework (AngularJS)
- Experience using Source Control such as Git, CVS or SubVersion.
- Experience in relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, SQS/RabbitMQ, API Gateway).
- Demonstrated experience building team culture and engineering processes, especially on high growth teams
- Experience working in a scrum or agile development environment
- Love of problem-solving and a demonstrable ability to self-start
- Understanding concepts and usage of CI/CD practices
- Strong communication skills

Our global hybrid model allows employees to work remotely two days per week. Our designated In-Office Days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This is when we come together in-person as a team to collaborate, learn from one another, and accelerate innovation. Some exceptions apply.
