Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As an Executive Assistant (EA), you’re a master in the art of organization, with a particular knack for scheduling, time and travel management. The leaders you support are set up for success by your prompt correspondence and proactive, solution-based approaches. Your natural adaptability allows you to flourish in an environment that often requires nimble rearrangements, and you consistently remain calm, cool and collected, while balancing multiple priorities.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid work. Candidates will be expected to regularly support in office work.

Meet Your Future Team:

You will be working directly with two Vice Presidents of Design, and the extended Product Design team. You will partner with a network of high-performing Executive Assistants across the business in providing exceptional support to our senior leadership team.

If you were an Executive Assistant now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Supporting with the execution of creative projects – able to support creative leaders throughout ongoing and new initiatives
  • Being in relationship – you show professionalism through how you communicate across internal teams and extended relationships
  • Providing exceptional administrative support with scheduling and calendar management
  • Organizing international and domestic travel arrangements
  • Organizing and submitting expense reports in a timely manner
  • Developing agendas, meeting minutes, and presentation materials
  • Drafting email correspondence and maintaining an organized inbox
  • Ensuring clear communication and alignment across multiple diverse functions globally
  • Supporting with the setup, coordination and execution of key cross-functional team meetings occurring in the office
  • Working cross-functionally and collaborating to ensure both physical and digital meetings run smoothly
  • Setting meeting agendas and working with relevant teams to ensure needs are met and key follow-up actions are initiated
  • Organizing and agenda planning for offsites and workshops
  • Spearheading the Live It culture and setting up activities and outings for the teams you support

  • Collaborating with the other EAs within the function to ensure effective support across the Creative leadership teams

Are you our next Executive Assistant?

  • You have 5+ years’ experience as Executive Assistant, and you are looking to grow your career as an EA
  • You’re a whiz with the Microsoft Office suite and have excellent business acumen
  • You’re a doer – happy to move ahead and take proactive initiative for the betterment of the team
  • You know how to prioritize and effectively manage the logistics of an Executive’s schedule: pre-reads, agendas and following up on action items are second nature to you
  • You have great time management skills, and naturally utilize sound judgement and prioritization when multi tasking and juggling competing priorities
  • You have strong emotional intelligence, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • You are seasoned in creating compelling PowerPoint decks and developing presentation materials
  • You leverage all available technology to streamline business outcomes
  • You’re not afraid of meeting new people, building relationships and creating partnerships across the organization
  • You have a not-so-secret skill as a travel agent and are able to manage complex international multi-leg travel, often requiring continuous changes and rescheduling
  • You are able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays occasionally as needed to support our global business
  • You are adept at supporting remote/hybrid leaders and business operations

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is CAD$82,000 - CAD$108,000

Most new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, where you can contribute right away while continuing to grow your craft, your collaborations, and your impact at Arc’teryx. This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
