Job Description

๐Ÿš€ The Job Role

This is a hybrid role based near Bridgwater, with relocation support available if required. Youโ€™ll be part of a project team delivering a flagship energy programme, supporting construction readiness and compliance while building your technical knowledge and industry experience.

  • Assist with preparing and updating mechanical construction documentation
  • Support senior engineers in delivering construction work packages
  • Gather and review technical inputs for assessments and reports
  • Coordinate with specialists to resolve queries from site teams
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environment
  • Track progress of construction documentation and flag delays or risks
  • Help plan surveying activities and access requirements for construction
  • Learn and use digital tools for documentation and permitting processes

Qualifications

๐Ÿ›  Essential Skills

  • Degree in Mechanical or HVAC engineering
  • Some experience in construction, energy, oil & gas, or other large industrial projects
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Good understanding of engineering documentation and technical drawings
