Position Summary:
The primary emphasis of this role is to maximise revenue growth through new client sales, ensuring that there is a dynamic pipeline of deals (managing our incoming leads, seeking new business opportunities) and developing a strong relationship network within the capital markets community.
This quota-bearing role will also support the execution of the overall revenue strategy together with the Head of EMEA Sales and other senior team members, with a particular focus on developing BMLLβs pipeline of Hedge Fund & Proprietary Trading firm clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect new clients and manage a pipeline of new accounts
- Acquire new clients, negotiate, and sell the BMLL vision to all new clients
- Generate a pipeline and manage of leads from lead generation to contract execution
- Conduct detailed research and analysis of prospective clients to understand their requirements and align the BMLL solution suite accordingly.
- Relay prospective client feedback to the Product Team to ensure that development is in line with their needs
- Mentor, coach and develop junior sales team members
What we’re looking for
Successful track record of generating significant new business revenue through sales
Strong personal network within the EMEA Hedge Fund & Prop Trading community is a must.
Experience in structuring, driving, negotiating, and closing large ticket size contracts (>$250k - $1m ACV) with sophisticated sales to solve complex problems, and displacing competitors.
Working knowledge of cloud data and technology infrastructure
Knowledge of hedge fund structures and trading strategies
Solid networking and relationship development skills amongst some of the most senior, respected and high-profile names in the investment management industry
Ability to deliver an effective pitch and technology demonstration to customers while actively listening to customer needs, concerns and goals
Work collaboratively with the client, internal departments as well as external partners to deliver exceptional customer experience with every project
Data/Fintech/Solutions sales to the hedge fund & proprietary trading community
Managed full client procurement and vendor onboarding process
Senior specialist in sales, business development and leadership

Proficiency in the use of LinkedIn
Ability to sell to all levels from junior buyer to CEO
