Job Description
- During your internship, you will support us in the integration of digital production solutions along the shopfloor (e.g. ticketing systems, (Andon) dashboards, experience and knowledge systems).
- You will assist us in the implementation of proof-of-concepts (PoCs), especially for integrating multiple applications (e.g. event-ticket-knowledge provision).
- Furthermore, you will configure and extend the integration and automation solutions, such as Node-RED, interfaces and data flows.
- Last but not least, you will document the use cases, data flows and technical concepts, as well as support during roll-outs and testing.
Qualifications
- Education: studies in the field of Engineering, e.g. Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: basic understanding of IT systems, web applications and data flows; first experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript), first exposure to automation, integration or low-code platforms (e.g. Node-RED) and basic knowledge of APIs, databases or Linux environments are an advantage
- Personality and Working Practice: you are a structured, initiative, independent and motivated person with a good communication skills and an enjoyment of working in international teams
- Work Routine: hybrid working model combining office-based and mobile work
- Enthusiasm: for digitalization, automation and networked production systems; interest in logistics processes, practical IT solutions with a direct connection to the shopfloor and in understanding complex systems and interrelationships
- Languages: fluent in English

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months
