Robert Bosch LLC seeks Manufacturing Engineer – TL (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 1010 Scotts Bridge Road, Anderson, SC 29621. Oversee safety, cost, quality, and delivery performance on the shop floor to achieve targets of MOE6. Lead improvements for KPI achievement, including productivity, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), FPY (First Pass Yield), and quality management to achieve targets such as zero-mileage complaints, IDC (Internal Defect Costs), capacity optimization, and RPP (Rationalization of Products and Manufacturing Processes), while fulfilling ergonomic regulations. Handle BPS activities, such as System CIP (Continuous Improvement Process), with four cycles per year for focus topic improvement, aligning business plans and fulfilling measures. Maintain the VSM and support achievement of BPS-M2 (Bosch Production System) assessment level 2+. Handle production documents like FMEAs (Failure Mode Effects Analysis), Control Plans, Process Flows, Failure Catalogs, PQIs (Operator Instructions), and Ats (Technician Instructions) to ensure all production line processes are completed properly while training and coaching the production team. Manage new equipment and production lines, including design, ordering, and integration, while documenting via Map Book / ECR and validating through capability studies and buyoff processes. Oversee production quality by completing corrective actions from PFMEAs and audit findings. Act as an 8D team leader to determine the root cause of customer complaints and complete corrective actions and lessons learned. The role will supervise 5 subordinates: Manufacturing Engineer (2), Controls Engineer, Project Coordinator and Sample Shop Coordinator. REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Plus 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Manager, Manufacturing Supervisor or occupation involving Lean Manufacturing. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Coordinating with cross-functional departments for internation high volume automotive manufacturing launch projects (IPN); (2) Problem solving techniques (SHAININ, 8D, or Kepner Tregoe); (3) Method-Time Measurement (MTM), MODAPTS or MOST; (4) MAE / capital investment approval request and Capital Expenditure Analysis (CEA); and (5) Preparation of manufacturing cost planning scenarios (MoB, BP, or EBIT).
