Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
- Design, develop, and maintain internal applications that are used by our own employees and improve business processes across departments
- Work with modern technologies such as C# and .NET framework to build scalable and reliable software solutions
- Take ownership of database management and ensure high performance and stability using MS SQL Server
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into efficient technical solutions
- You are not afraid of old code. An important part of your job is to independently analyze, maintain, and continuously improve existing legacy systems, ensuring long-term sustainability
- Explore and integrate AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to help improve our workflow and build smart features into our internal products.
- Support colleagues by solving complex technical issues as part of 2nd level support
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in software development with C# and .NET
- Experience working with MS SQL Server and database design
- Experience in understanding user needs and translating them into technical plans
Know-how
- Strong expertise in backend development using C#/.NET
- Solid understanding of old programs. You can quickly and independently get familiar with legacy code and find good solutions to problems
- Interest or initial experience in applying AI tools in software development
Languages
- Very good English skills. German skills at least at B1 level
Working Style and Methods
- Strong communication and organization skills, especially in digital collaboration environments
Personality
- Passion for clean, maintainable, and high-quality code
