Job Description
Your tasks:
► Coordination of mechanical development for engine control unit / vehicle control units until SOP
- die cast parts
- sheet metal parts
- plastic parts (connector)
- PCB (printed circuit board) layout
► Leading of international project team (design, purchasing, customer, production technology, layout, sample shop, series preparation)
► Planning and follow-up of scheduling, quality, resources, capacity, costs, risk-management according to requirements
► Introduction of improvement-measures
► Project documentation according to current Bosch quality directives
► Regular reporting about project status to internal customer and management
► Coordination of technical topics with customer, Bosch departments and production sites in international environment
► Use and improvement of development methods according to Bosch rules and customer requirements
► Follow-up and compliance of scheduling, costs and quality goals
► Provide serial support for existing ECU/VCU products, including problem solving, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives, particularly during periods without active project assignments
Qualifications
► University or technical college degree in engineering (mechanical, electronic, mechatronics, technical manager or comparable)
► Negotiation level of English language
► Project leader mindset and experience
► Familiar with different technologies (aluminium die cast, plastics, sheet metal, PCB)
► Self-confident appearance
► Strong communication and negotiation skills
► Target-, quality- and process oriented
► Flexible, team player
► Ability to cope with stress
► Precise, independent and systematically
