Working at Brex allows you to push your limits, challenge the status quo, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry. We’re committed to building a diverse team and inclusive culture and believe your potential should only be limited by how big you can dream. We make this a reality by empowering you with the tools, resources, and support you need to grow your career.

People Team at Brex

The People team builds and sustains the culture that powers Brex. We focus on talent, growth, and the employee experience — creating an environment where high-agency individuals can thrive. From hiring to development, we design systems that grow with scale and challenge people to reach their potential. It’s a team for builders, coaches, and culture-shapers.

What You’ll Do

Brex is on an exciting journey of growth, and we’re seeking a Workplace Programs Lead to design and scale the programs that power our global offices. In this role, you’ll partner with our Head of Workplace Experience to drive office expansions, build and optimize workplace systems, and launch programs that support employees across all locations. From real estate projects to digital tools and emergency response, you’ll own the initiatives that keep our offices running smoothly and our teams set up for success.

This is a high-impact role with visibility across the company. You’ll be building programs that directly influence how our global teams operate, shaping standards for scale, and ensuring that Brex workplaces support business growth at every stage.

Where You’ll Work

This role will be based in our New York City office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of two coordinated days in the office per week, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!

Responsibilities

Office Expansions & Real Estate

  • Project manage renovations, expansions, and smaller office build-outs from planning through completion.
  • Partner closely with office managers and the IT/AV team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business needs.

Global Workplace Programs

  • Oversee programs such as our digital mail platform, global guest policies, coworking solutions, and workplace technology stack evaluations.
  • Build and launch an emergency response program, including consultant partnerships, training, and documentation.
  • Develop workplace standards and scalable policies across regions.

Processes, Systems & Documentation

  • Create and maintain clear documentation for workplace processes, policies, and standards to ensure global consistency.
  • Optimize systems and workflows in partnership with office managers for scalability and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvements through creative problem-solving and process design.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communications

  • Partner with IT/AV, People, Finance, and external vendors to ensure alignment and program success.
  • Compose and release company-wide communications for updated workplace programs and procedures.
  • Take on ad hoc projects that support workplace strategy and operations.

Requirements

Experience

  • 4+ years in workplace operations or programs, ideally in high-growth, multi-office environments.
  • Proven success leading office expansions and vendor negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and roll out global programs and processes at scale.

Skills

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills with an eye for process efficiency.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, from executive-level updates to company-wide announcements.
  • Financial analysis and budget management capabilities.
  • Creative problem-solving, with the ability to balance structure and flexibility.

Mindset & Approach

  • High EQ and empathy for the employee experience.
  • Self-starter with strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple high-priority projects.
  • Hospitality-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellent customer service.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with office design or construction projects
  • Familiarity with workplace and hybrid work trends
  • Knowledge of change management in scaling organizations

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $103,960 - $129,950.  However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
