Typescript Developer / DevOps
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure systems, making architectural decisions that align with business and technical goals.
- Build and manage applications using TypeScript, AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Pulumi), Kubernetes, and React. Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Champion test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration/testing, and security best practices across the software lifecycle.
- Promote coding standards, peer reviews, and continuous learning.
- Oversee advanced database design and optimization, including query tuning, replication strategies, and performance troubleshooting.
- Work effectively with cross-functional, distributed teams. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, particularly within ERP-focused projects.
- Role implies aprox 60% Software Development and 40% DevOps responsibilities
Requirements:
- Senior Developer 6+ years of experience.
- Expert inTypeScript, AWS, infraAsCode (terraform, pulumi), Kubernetes.
- React knowledge is nice to have.
- Architectural decision-making experience, designing scalable, high-performance systems.
- Advanced database expertise, including database performance tuning, query optimization, and replication strategies.
- Experience leading development efforts, guiding teams in best coding practices and design decisions.
- Strong focus on software quality, implementing test-driven development (TDD) and continuous testing strategies.
- Deep understanding of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Proven ability to optimize applications for speed, scalability, and maintainability.
- Experience with cloud-native development, including serverless architecture and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
- Drives process improvements in agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and software lifecycle management.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting complex production issues and proposing long-term solutions.
- Comfortable presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of ERP systems and their architecture, with significant experience in designing and implementing features related to purchasing, sales, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience working effectively in geographically dispersed, diverse, and virtual teams
