About the role
We are looking for a creative, talented and passionate Head of PR (Global) to be fully responsible day-to-day for all areas of global PR, including setting the strategy for the brand to engage advocates (media, consumer and corporate).
The role will involve working closely with the regional PR teams within each region to develop, implement, report and analyse strategic PR plans to launch new products, stores, brand partnerships and brand campaigns with the aim of engaging the diverse Charlotte Tilbury audience to drive increased brand awareness and sales.
As Global Head of PR you will
- Develop strategies and exceptional PR plans that can be executed globally, with local nuances, to grow brand awareness of Charlotte Tilbury (person and brand) amongst targeted audiences
- Promote and respect core brand values and work closely with all departments (from sales, digital, NPD, global, design and marketing) and partners to deliver integrated campaigns and relevant content
- Develop launch plans for key NPD activity and marketing campaigns working closely with marketing to devise and deliver record breaking launch activity for each new product launch
- Create and manage communication strategies and plans to support existing (core) brand portfolio and NPD, driving brand pillars and delivering on key brand objectives
- Deliver plans for securing and utilising celebrity and digital influencer access and content
- Project manage integrated marketing campaigns where relevant
- Guide local teams to develop and secure consistent, regular, quality and on-Brand advocacy (print, online, broadcast and social) across all key advocacy outlets with a key focus on ROI
- Develop plans to create an elevated and enviable corporate image for Charlotte Tilbury within the beauty industry and beyond
- Work with senior leaders and external agencies to manage any corporate communication requirements and/or crisis communications as they arise.
- Oversee CSR planning – putting purpose at the heart of all we do
- Manage and motivate team members and agencies to deliver plans, set KPIs, track results and analyse success to build learnings.
Who you will work with
- You will work alongside the Talent and Influencer Directors to ensure the global comms plans maximise and amplify their network of digital influencers, models and celebrities.
- This role will report into our Global Communications Director.
About you
- Minimum of eight years PR experience
- Global experience required, as well as experience executing locally
- A proven background in Beauty PR experience is not essential but useful,
- Both an agency or in-house background are desirable (if coming from an agency, we would be looking at an Account Director or above)
- Background in working with a known personality is preferable
- Experienced in devising and implementing strategic plans with creative flair
- Excellent leadership, team management and communication skills
- Have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Have a flexible and professional attitude
- Have exceptional organisational and prioritising skills and show great attention to detail and be results-driven
- Adept at managing multiple stakeholders
