Job Title: New Franchise Operations Intern
Job Location: 17725 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77094

Job Overview:
Support the First Year Team in Operations at the CBA Support Center/Corporate Office as they train and assist new franchisees and their teams to build a foundation for sustained growth.
Responsibilities
Administrative & Efficiency Projects
- Updating Playbooks/Manuals: Specifically updating the “CBA 101 Book” and supporting the creation of a “CBA 201 Book.”
- Process Documentation: Writing and finalizing pre-planned emails and communication templates to build efficiency for the team.
- Binder/Folder Audits: Checking to ensure specific physical resources are actually present in the stores and in Google Drive.
Data & Analytics
- Specific Data Projects: Running analysis on questions like “How fast to a million?” (tracking how long it takes newly opened stores to hit that revenue milestone).
- Labor/Financial Tracking: Assisting with data entry or report generation to support the “Shop Analytics” focus.
Compliance & Review (DVI Initiatives)
- DVI Competition Screening: Acts as the first line of defense for the upcoming DVI video competition by checking if submissions meet basic criteria (e.g., correct sheet, under time limit, right vehicle mileage) before passing them to the technical team.
- Phone Call Evaluations: Listens to franchisee/store phone calls and provides feedback or transcripts (building on existing team efforts).
Shop Setup Support
- TekMetric/Inventory: Assists with setting up new store profiles, uploading inventory, and configuring settings.
On-Site Exposure
- Store Visits: Travel to a shop for a few days to gain a “well-rounded picture” of the operation, which will enhance effectiveness in all other task areas.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- A current student or recent graduate, with relevant coursework that would be an asset to the role. This could include business, training and development, data analytics, operations and other majors.
Skills:
- Self Starter: Someone comfortable taking initiative, researching solutions if needed, and not afraid to share ideas on how to improve processes
- Written Communication: The ability to clearly and effectively convey information through text.
- Data Analysis & Technical Proficiency: Expertise in gathering, interpreting, and applying data, coupled with skill in utilizing software tools, particularly spreadsheet applications (e.g., Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel).
- Attention to Detail & Organizational Skills: A methodical approach to tasks, ensuring accuracy and order in managing resources and information.
- Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving: The capacity to evaluate information objectively and develop effective solutions to challenges.
- Interpersonal & Listening Skills: The aptitude for interacting with others, building rapport, and understanding verbal communication.
- Relationally Driven: The capacity to build and maintain professional relationships, foster a collaborative spirit, and support team goals.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Base Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
