Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-level marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role is critical in shaping our digital engagement strategy, ensuring seamless integration across platforms, and delivering personalized, data-driven experiences at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Architecture
- o Define and own the Marketing Cloud architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- o Partner with Marketing, Product, and Technology leaders to translate strategic goals into technical solutions.
- Solution Delivery
- o Lead end-to-end implementation of complex Marketing Cloud solutions, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages, and Content Builder.
- o Architect integrations between Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and external systems using APIs and middleware.
- Data Strategy
- Design robust data models and segmentation strategies for advanced personalization.
- o Ensure compliance with global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
- Innovation & Optimization
- o Introduce best practices for deliverability, dynamic content, and campaign automation.
- o Drive continuous improvement through analytics, A/B testing, and performance optimization.
- Leadership
- o Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for Marketing Cloud developers and administrators.
- o Establish governance frameworks and coding standards.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 7+ years in digital marketing technology, with at least 5 years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale implementations.
- Technical Skills
- o Expertise in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, HTML/CSS, and API integrations.
- o Strong understanding of data architecture and marketing automation best practices.
- Certifications
- o Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant and Architect certifications strongly preferred.
- Soft Skills
- o Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and long-term goals.
- o Influence & Leadership: Skilled at guiding cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- o Communication Excellence: Clear, concise, and persuasive communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
