About EcoCart
Founded in 2019, we build sustainability software for ecommerce brands. Our software uses machine learning to calculate ecological footprints and provides tools for brands and their customers to offset order emissions.
We offer green shipping protection at checkout, which combines shipping protection with transparent climate contributions. We also help create sustainable shopping experiences with live impact counters, educational pop-ups, banners, and dedicated landing pages. To encourage repeat purchases, we give cashback loyalty incentives to shoppers who choose shipping protection or climate contributions. We also provide custom claims policies and branded post-purchase experiences, from confirmation emails to claims support. Merchants get a dedicated portal to track real-time metrics, analyze sustainability initiatives, track claims, and manage post-purchase optimizations.
So far, we have helped prevent over 400 million pounds of greenhouse gases and serve more than 2,000 merchants. About 59% of orders see shoppers choose our package protection at checkout. We currently have between 51 and 200 employees.
