The role focuses on calibration strategy definition, software release support, and functional tuning using HIL, system test benches, and vehicles. You will work closely with software, system, and test & validation teams to ensure robust, efficient, and compliant electric powertrain performance.
Activities include:
· Define and maintain baseline calibrations for each electric powertrain software release
· Perform functional calibration of HV powertrain and charging systems, including:
o Energy management
o Thermal management
o Charging control (AC/DC)
o Torque management
o High voltage safety and diagnostics
· Execute calibration activities on:
o HIL platforms
o System and powertrain test benches
o Vehicles (road and laboratory environments)
· Use industry‑standard calibration tools such as INCA and CANape
· Review and assess Simulink models developed in‑house by the software team
· Ensure calibration parameters and strategies are:
o Correctly implemented in software
o Aligned with system requirements and functional intent
· Support software integration, testing, and release activities
· Provide feedback to software teams to improve model structure, tunability, and calibration robustness
· Create and execute calibration test cases derived from system and functional requirements
· Analyse measurements, logs, and KPIs to assess:
o Functional performance
o Efficiency and drivability
o Thermal and safety behaviour
· Document results and produce clear calibration and validation reports
· Support issue investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution
The Company is open to considering alternative engagement arrangements, including a self-employed basis, subject to mutual agreement.
