We are an education technology company providing personalized college and career counseling to students. We combine expert counselors with data-driven tools, like algorithms and human expertise, to match students with counselors and assess application competitiveness for top U.S. colleges and universities. Our services include college essay writing, resume and cover letter assistance, interview preparation, career counseling, graduate school admissions, tutoring, and test preparation. We also offer exclusive extracurricular programs and internships to help students gain real-world experience. Our Empowerly Score® provides data-driven insights into college application readiness.

Since we started in 2017, we’ve helped over 5,000 students get into their desired programs. Over the last five years, we’ve had a reported 98% success rate for students admitted to a top 100 U.S. college. Our team members are graduates of various U.S. colleges with expertise across STEM, pre-med, business, and the humanities. They include former admissions officers who provide feedback on applications. We operate within the E-Learning Providers industry.

Founders Hanmei Wu and Changxiao Xie were inspired by their own experiences navigating the college admissions process—as children of immigrants and a first-generation college student. They aim to build a community that supports students and families, helping the next generation expand their horizons.
