Job summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented PMO professional to support project control, reporting and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to project management, strong proficiency in MS Office and a keen eye for numbers. This role involves gathering and analyzing project data, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maintaining financial oversight to enhance project profitability and overall performance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Collect, consolidate and analyze project progress data to produce reports on timesheets, budget vs. forecast vs. actual spend, revenue forecast and profitability.

  • Provide project control and support by monitoring project performance and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

  • Oversee resource allocation and billability to maximize project efficiency.

  • Track timesheet bookings, invoicing, and overall project profitability, ensuring Project Managers remain accountable.

  • Support Project Managers in financial reporting and project-related documentation.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial documentation and reporting for all projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good understanding of business environments and financial metrics.

  • Prior exposure to project management processes.

  • Ability to handle and interpret financial data with precision.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of working independently and collaboratively.

  • Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and project control concepts.

  • Prior experience in a PMO role or similar project control function.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Role-Specific Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and data analysis.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

  • Capacity to provide actionable insights from project and financial data.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with Project Managers and other stakeholders.
