Job Description

  • Handling OtC accounting processes
  • Month-end closing activities
  • Contact and cooperation with local accounting units
  • Participation in projects to improve existing processes
  • Supporting the Team Leader in the recruitment process
  • Supporting the Team Leader in the annual employee evaluation process
  • Onboarding and training new Junior Accountants/Accountants
  • Supporting the Team Leader in certain events, leading team meetings on topics such as information updates, organisational issues, etc.
  • Supervising the team’s work
  • Monitoring the group e-mail inbox
  • Supporting the team leader in maintaining up-to-date documentation
  • Updating operating procedures
  • Escalating problems, system failures, etc. to the TL, manager or system manager
  • Actively contributing to team building
  • Opportunity to participate in knowledge transfer projects from other European locations of the company

Qualifications

  • Advanced accounting knowledge,
  • Experience in OtC accounting, preferred in SSC/ BPO environment (more than 2 years),
  • Advanced knowledge OtC process steps,
  • Awareness of PtP, RtR and OtC dependences,
  • Communication skills (ability to lead relation with stakeholders in a variety areas),
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • MS Office knowledge,
  • Knowledge of Excel at the advanced level,
  • Finance related education,
  • Additional training, certification will be an asset.
  • High level of energy, drive and passion
  • Proactive in problem solving
