Job Description
Position Title: Information Security Consultant (Scrum, Agile and Change Management)
Reporting To: Manager
Working Location: Bangalore
Work mode: Hybrid (3days office)
Job description:
- Scrum Master Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure disciplined adoption of Scrum practices across the IAM Product, Requirements, and Delivery crews.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to remove impediments and enable the delivery team to complete committed Product Backlog items as per plan.
- Maintain a predictable and efficient delivery cadence through effective planning and execution.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile values, principles, and best practices to strengthen team maturity.
- Foster collaboration between Product Owners, Business Analysts, Delivery teams, and other stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, structured feedback loops, and analysis of sprint metrics.
- Monitor and report sprint metrics and use insights to improve delivery capacity, team effectiveness, and product quality
- Change Manager Responsibilities
- Enforce adherence to the Global IT CAB process for all IAM-related changes.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation for change management policies, procedures, and workflows, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and compliant.
- Establish and maintain best‑in‑class change governance procedures for critical IAM services such as FAMS, ILM, ILM DS, and PAM.
- Ensure every change request is comprehensively documented, including scope definition, impact and risk analysis, testing evidence, communication plans, and rollback procedures.
- Ensure all changes undergo thorough testing in a controlled test environment, with results formally reviewed as part of the change approval process.
- Coordinate the implementation of approved changes within agreed timelines and ensure proper communication to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure changes minimize or avoid impact on business users, with clear communication and fully validated rollback procedures in place to mitigate disruptions.
- Oversee emergency change processes, lead formal post‑implementation reviews, and ensure corrective actions are recorded, tracked, and completed
- Audit & Compliance Manager:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IAM‑related internal and external audits.
- Coordinate with the internal Security Certifications crew to understand audit scope, timelines, and evidence requirements.
- Ensure IAM processes, controls, and documentation remain compliant with applicable security standards and certification frameworks.
- Identify audit‑driven security requirements, collaborate with the Product Owner on scoping, planning, and prioritization, and drive timely implementation.
- Track all audit findings, observations, and corrective actions through to closure, ensuring complete and validated evidence is maintained.
- Support ongoing compliance by monitoring for process deviations, recommending corrective actions, and reinforcing adherence to IAM policies and procedures.
- Monitor IAM‑related risks and drive mitigation activities to timely closure in alignment with agreed remediation timelines.
- Reporting :
- Co-ordinate with the required teams and prepare reports for Management meetings to report the progress of initiatives within IAM Business Unit.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: (maximum 500 characters (not including spaces) for short position posting and for posting on Eurofins website and career portals)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in Agile delivery and IT Change Management, ideally within complex or global IT environments.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and drive follow‑ups to ensure timely delivery.
- Ability to manage multiple parallel responsibilities with strong organizational skills, prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated interest in learning Information Security and Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts, or experience working with security/IAM technologies; a growth‑oriented mindset is essential.
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master for cross‑functional or security‑focused teams, with a solid understanding of Agile principles.
- Hands‑on experience with IT change management processes, including CAB governance and change lifecycle controls.
- Understanding of audit and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC2, or similar standards.
- Adaptability to evolving requirements, ability to respond quickly to changing priorities, and willingness to take ownership of end‑to‑end processes.
- Certifications such as CSM, PSM, or ITIL are advantageous.
