In a nutshell

The IT Technical Project Manager, D365 CoE will be a member of Eurofins’ D365 PMO team, working closely with the IT Solutions Director, program leadership, and cross-functional IT teams to successfully deliver multiple technical initiatives within the global D365 program. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and reporting across several technical workstreams, including in between system integration, data migration, reporting and analytics (Power BI/Fabric), Power Platform, .NET applications, and other components of the D365 ecosystem.

The successful candidate will ensure all technical projects & streams remain on track by actively managing project schedules, dependencies, monitoring execution, identifying and mitigating risks early, and ensuring readiness for upcoming milestones. Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and clear, effective communication with multidisciplinary teams are essential to keep stakeholders aligned and informed throughout the program lifecycle.

As part of the D365 Program PMO, the IT Technical Project Manager will also collaborate closely with product owners, architects, technical leads, functional consultants, developers, QA and data teams, as well as external implementation partners. This role ensures consistent delivery practices, adherence to Eurofins’ standards, and strong integration across all technical domains. A solid technical understanding of the D365FO/SCM technology stack including Microsoft Azure, Fabric/Power BI, .NET, Angular, Power Platform, and Power Apps is essential for success as well as best PMO practical experience in similar position in large-scale, international IT systems implementation.

Role Requirements and Objectives:

  • Planning & Scheduling: Prepare and lead planning activities, define workstream timelines, coordinate integration checkpoints, data migration rehearsals, testing cycles, releases and cutover readiness with all technical and functional teams with D365 delivery program,
  • Monitoring & Control: Track, report daily progress across multiple technical workstreams (integrations, data migration, reporting, PP apps, environments, testing), ensuring alignment with the master D365 program timeline, deliverables, and quality expectations,
  • Risk, Issue & Dependency Management: Maintain RAID logs, identify cross‑stream dependencies early, escalate risks to the IT Solutions Director and PMO, and drive mitigation actions,
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare clear, concise reporting templates and futher status updates and management‑ready project status reports for the IT Solutions Director and the PMO and other stakeholders as necessary, summarizing progress, risks, key decisions, and next steps, facilitating decision-making process,
  • Cross‑Team Coordination: Facilitate communication and alignment between all engaged D365 teams, mainly between technical and functional teams, architecture, integration, data, Power BI, Power Platform, QA, Ops, and other IT teams to ensure synchronized execution across all streams,
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure that all workstreams follow Eurofins program governance, delivery standards, documentation templates, ALM/SDLC policies, CI/CD qualities and PMO reporting cadence,
  • Execution Discipline: Enforce structured delivery practices, ensure follow‑up on action items, maintain documentation accuracy, and support auditability and change management processes.

Qualifications

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience managing complex technical IT projects, preferably in ERP, ideally in D365FO/SCM ecosystem, systems integration, data/analytics, or enterprise application environments,
  • Good understanding of D365FO/SCM technology stack and associated technical domains (Integrations, LCS, Azure DevOps pipelines, APIs, data migration, Power Platform, Power BI/Fabric, environments),
  • Solid and proven experience supervising multiple concurrent workstreams within a larger ERP program, ideally in an international or multi‑site deployment context,
  • Highly disciplined and organized and being able to bring structure, clarity, and reliable follow‑through to complex, fast‑moving project environments,
  • Ability to switch context quickly across different technical topics and stakeholders,
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to summarize complex technical information for senior leadership and tailor communication, content and language to various groups of program stakeholders,
  • Advanced Azure DevOps, Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience preparing high-quality project status decks and steering‑committee materials,
  • Strong experience working with PMO teams, program governance frameworks, RAID management, and structured reporting,
  • Practical experience with Azure DevOps, project tracking, sprint monitoring, test cycles, pipelines, and technical documentation practices,
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; project management certification (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile) is an advantage,
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Good to know:

  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel (20%-40%, depending on project phase) to regional offices, subsidiaries, or project sites may be required to support specific project events and activities,

  • Work Environment: The role is transversal and collaborative, interacting with Finance, multidisciplinary IT teams (e.g. BAs, Developers, Architects), external Partner and corporate and regional business + IT teams in a multicultural and international environment,

  • Contract Type & Location: Minimum contract duration: 1 Year with high probability for extension to 2 Years, with flexibility for hybrid remote collaboration with international teams. Permanent contract considerable.

  • Professional Development: Opportunities to enhance and gain practical and solid Project Management skills in D365FO program, and participate in global rollout projects,

  • Key Attributes: Very strong communication, technical knowledge and analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to balance delivery quality, timeline and costs.
