Job Description
The Operational Resilience Senior Manager will lead on oversight and assistance to 1st line of defence (1LoD), to interpret and maintain compliance to resiliency policy requirements, driving high quality and best practice aligned to current standards and regulatory requirements.
- This hands-on role will support NA and will be a subject matter expert (SME) Operational Resilience. You will report to the Business Resilence Manager.
- You will also be expected to lead on regional crisis management incidents (following the Global Crisis Management Framework).
- Important partners will be NA Exec team Team, Senior Leaders
- Supporting 1LOD teams establish operational resilience to meet our Resilience policy and standards, through advice, monitoring, training and testing.
- Respond to major incidents, following the Crisis Management framework. Be the regional lead to co-ordinate Crisis Management Teams, along with testing and exercising on an ongoing basis. This ensures stakeholders are aware of their roles and responsibilities in a crisis situation.
- Participate in the ongoing improvements to resiliency processes and adapting to regulatory requirements and best practice.
- Lead and support regional resilience risk assessments to understand risk exposure and ensure any corrective action required is taken.
Core Responsibilities:
- Influence, deliver and embed industry standard resilience disciplines and practices (tech, cyber, operations).
- Build insight of regional resilience risk, specifically relating to Critical Business Services in order to drive appropriate management action to optimise service recovery and restoration capability.
- Implement Crisis Management incident response in order to respond appropriately.
- Train and exercise Gold and Silver Crisis Management team across a number of extreme scenarios and develop playbooks and incident response plans. Support Platinum incidents as applicable.
- Play an active role in the Global Watchtower process along with other stakeholders in order to understand the threat landscape and Emerging Resilience Regulation, and deliver all insight requiring action.
- Oversee, plan & schedule to deliver & execute against key resilience activities such as:o Plan creation / reviewso Exercising Business Continuity/Crisis Eventso 1LoD consultancyo Client / Regulatory Auditso Merger & Acquisition (M&A) activity โ due diligence and integrationso Critical Supplier RSQ exceptions
Qualifications
- +5 years experience in Resilience disciplines (Business, Operational, Cyber and Tech)
- Project Management skills and Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining and testing business continuity plans for corporate business required.
- CBCP, CBCI certification
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and developing colleagues and strong stakeholder engagement
- Understanding of the NA Resilience Regulatory Landscape
