We are looking for a Senior RPA Engineer to design, build, and maintain automation solutions that streamline business operations across Ferryscanner. Your focus will be to identify automation opportunities and deliver reliable and scalable RPA workflows, mainly for our Finance department, while also supporting other teams across the company.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced RPA engineer who takes full ownership of automations from discovery and design through development, deployment, and ongoing optimization. You will play a key role in shaping Ferryscanner’s automation strategy, setting best practices, and ensuring our RPA solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities
Analyze business processes, with a focus on Finance operations, to identify automation opportunities.
Translate requirements into detailed technical designs for RPA workflows, particularly for tasks like invoice processing, reconciliations, reporting, and payments.
Build and deploy end-to-end automations using Power Automate.
Create scalable, maintainable automation components that can be applied across Finance and other teams.
Integrate automations with internal tools, APIs, and financial systems used by Ferryscanner.
Perform thorough testing to ensure stable automations.
Monitor automations in production and proactively resolve issues to prevent business disruptions.
Optimize existing bots for better efficiency, reliability, and accuracy, especially in financial processes.
Maintain clear documentation of processes, workflows, and configurations for Finance and cross-functional teams.
Work closely with Finance and other business stakeholders to map processes and suggest automated solutions.
Contribute to Ferryscanner’s automation roadmap and best practices.
Ensure automations follow security, compliance, and data privacy standards.
Requirements
Required qualifications, skills & knowledge
4–6+ years of experience as a RPA engineer, preferably with exposure to Finance-related processes such as invoicing, reconciliations, reporting, or payments.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Hands-on experience with at least one leading RPA tool (Microsoft Power Automate strongly preferred).
Strong understanding of process mapping, workflow design, and Business Process Management concepts, including financial operations workflows.
Solid programming/scripting experience (PHP, Python, Java, or similar) and SQL knowledge.
Experience integrating with APIs, databases, ERP, or financial systems.
Familiarity with agile development practices.
Passion for automation, RPA and AI-driven technologies.
Nice to Have
Experience with financial systems and accounting tools (e.g. Softone, SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
Exposure to OCR, AI-based automation, or intelligent document processing, useful for Finance document workflows.
Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
Background in e-commerce, or high-scale consumer tech.
