As a Business Development Manager (m/f/d), you will support our national growth strategy by assisting in the acquisition and management of bus partners, handling licensing, permitting, and timetable administration, preparing contracts and legal documentation, and collaborating across departments — contributing to the development of strong, long-lasting partnerships that form the backbone of our nationwide route network.
This position comes with a fixed‑term maternity cover contract.
About the Role
Identify, acquire, and manage bus partners, building strong, long‑term, win‑win relationships
Support the full partnership lifecycle, including sales activities, contract and documentation management, and partner queries
Analyze partnership and network opportunities (quantitative, relational, and functional) and prepare compelling pitches for stakeholders
Integrate partners into the national and international route network and support the launch of operations and new lines
Collaborate with Network Planning and other internal teams to plan, authorize, and register a complete and functional network (bus stops, timetables, and authorities)
Prepare, manage, and maintain internal and external data to support network planning, budgeting, and financial planning
Contribute to process development and continuous improvement across sales, network setup, and operational authorization
About You
2–4 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in transportation, tourism, mobility, consulting, or a business/analytical environment
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Analytics, Transport Engineering, or a comparable field
Strong commercial acumen with a clear interest in client acquisition, partner development, and value creation
Genuine enthusiasm for Flix’s business model and the mobility/transportation industry
Proactiveness and hands‑on mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with solid proficiency in Office 365 tools
