Join our Legal Team in São Paulo as a Senior Legal Manager (m/f/d) and play a key role in shaping Flix’s legal strategy in Brazil. You will act as a trusted legal partner to the business, supporting operations, growth, and compliance in a fast-paced, international environment.
About the Role
As Senior Legal Manager, you will provide comprehensive legal support across multiple areas of the business, ensuring compliance with Brazilian regulations while enabling Flix’s continued expansion.
Yourresponsibilitieswillinclude:
- Providing legal advice across a broad range of matters, especiallycivil, administrative, laborand consumer protection law, but also in data protection, transport regulation, and contract management.
- Managing external legal counsel and overseeing legal proceedings, disputes, and litigation.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and business partners.
- Collaborating with PR and Marketing teams by reviewing campaigns, statements, communications, and advertising materials to ensure regulatory and brand compliance, including Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies in line with Brazilian legal requirements.
- Conducting legal research and analysis on emerging legal topics and developing proactive, business-oriented legal strategies.
- Preparing and submitting authorization requests before ANTT for the operation of regular bus lines.
- Supporting Customer Service with legal matters and assisting Finance with vendor and commercial contracts.
- Handling and overseeing the company’s corporate setup and governance matters in Brazil.
About You
You are a proactive legal professional who enjoys working at the intersection of law, business, and strategy in a dynamic environment.
You bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Lawwith active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- 5+ years of experience as in-house lawyer or at a law firm, with a strong focus on civil, consumer and labour litigation, including case management
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian laws and regulations with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment, engaging with professionals from diverse areas of expertise.
- Proven experience managing a high volume of judicial and administrative proceedings, particularly in civil, consumer protection and employment matters.
- Experience liaising with external law firms, monitoring procedural deadlines, and overseeing litigation strategies across multiple simultaneous cases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and public authorities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
- A proactive, independent working style and the ability to thrive as part of a global, cross-functional team.
- Fluent English (please submit CV in English).
