About your role
Senior Associate – Business Development is a key role at GLG, playing a vital part in building GLG’s portfolio of corporate clients in South Korea. The role engages with decision makers from the industry, educating and pitching GLG’s value proposition to enhanced Client decision-making ability. This role requires on-boarding of new Clients and ongoing engagement to position GLG’s bespoke products/services.
Key Associate Responsibilities Include​
- Identify and engage with senior industry leaders within the Corporation service segment to develop new relationships and grow existing business relationships
- Identify growth opportunities, build & execute acquisition targets, plans and realize objectives by helping become GLG as a preferred go to partner for clients
- Collaborate with colleagues – sales, marketing, legal, research, finance, technology – to solve complex business issues and successfully bring these to market.
- Ability to articulate GLG’s brand and value proposition to potential at a large forum/conferences.
- Work alongside senior sales team members in negotiating enterprise level deals for existing clients and new business.
- Support and run the reporting and analysis of Client activity on a monthly and quarterly basis
Ideal Candidates Have ​
- 2-3 years’ experience as an individual contributor in business development function within the Korean corporations (selling consultative product and services)
- Candidates for this position need to have demonstrated an ability to make consultative enterprise-level sales to Corporate clients, as well as to develop, build and execute account plans by coordinating resources across multiple client service teams.
- Candidates must be comfortable articulating the value of primary research and GLG’s world’s knowledge marketplace to large and small audiences alike.
- Candidates must have a clear track record of excellence in several categories, including: teamwork, professionalism, communication, organization and client service. Successful candidates will naturally align to and demonstrate GLG’s core values of courage, integrity, curiosity and judgement.

The total compensation package for this position includes benefits and may include eligibility for incentive compensation.
