We securely capture and preserve the communications data of the world’s most highly regulated firms, giving them greater visibility and control over their information and ensuring compliance with stringent regulations.

Though we offer competitive compensation and benefits and all the other perks one would expect from an established company, we are not your typical technology company. Global Relay is a career-building company. A place for big ideas. New challenges. Groundbreaking innovation. It’s a place where you can genuinely make an impact – and be recognized for it.

We believe great businesses thrive on diversity, inclusion, and the contributions of all employees. To that end, we recruit candidates from different backgrounds and foster a work environment that encourages employees to collaborate and learn from each other, completely free of barriers.

Your role

The Business Analysis function resides within the Finance & Accounting team and plays an integral part in understanding and solutioning various business problems affecting Global Relay, particularly those that impact our revenues and billing. The Business Analysis Lead reports directly to the VP, Finance and has two primary responsibilities. Firstly, as a trusted advisor and problem solver, you are responsible for gaining a strong understanding of the purpose of your analyses, prioritizing and scoping project work, and developing the approach in which you will identify, gather and organize data needed from various sources. Working in collaboration with the Business Analyst, you will use this data to build financial analyses and models which can be easily adapted and maintained, including constructing models needed for recurring purposes that can be transitioned to their respective teams. Secondly, the Business Analysis Lead is a project manager and champion for the operationalization of business intelligence that stems not only from the Business Analysis function, but also cross-functionally from Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, and Customer Success. As Global Relay continues to grow you will take an active role in ensuring that business intelligence needs are streamlined and meaningfully deployed within the company. The Business Analysis Lead takes a proactive and comprehensive approach to ensure that all business intelligence needs are captured, triaged, actioned, and ultimately deployed within Global Relay to advance business objectives.

You work collaboratively and provide oversight of the Business Analysis function. You will compile, analyze, and communicate findings, conclusions and proposed next steps to stakeholders in various formats such as slide decks, diagrams, work flows, emails, and memos and aid in the preparation of internal and external facing documentation that may be required. A successful Business Analysis Lead has a solution-focused mindset, is thirsty for knowledge, and is energized to make a difference by providing timely, value-added analyses and proposed course of actions to a cross-functional group of stakeholders, including senior management and executive leadership.
