Founded in 1999, we provide end-to-end compliance solutions for the global financial sector and other highly regulated industries. We serve over 20,000 customers in 90 countries, including 22 of the top 25 banks. Our integrated solutions help regulated organizations meet their collaboration, privacy, and security requirements.

Our products and services include the Global Relay App for compliant communications across channels like voice, SMS, and WhatsApp. We use high-performance data connectors to capture communications from various sources. Our AI-powered cloud archive meets record-keeping requirements, and our proactive surveillance tools offer AI-assisted data classification, escalation workflows, and audit reports. We also provide analytics.

We support industries like finance, government, life sciences, energy, legal, and insurance. We operate as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider and were an early adopter of cloud technology, building our software on open-source code. We manage petabytes of data and perform over 850 data productions each month, backed by 24/7/365 live support. Gartner has recognized us as a Leader for Digital Communications Governance and Archiving Solutions.

When we founded Global Relay in 1999, our vision was to build a company focused on growth. Our core management team has been with us for over 25 years. We’ve grown from four to over 1,700 employees without outside investment, ensuring we maintain control over our future. Our approach is to patiently build our own technology rather than acquiring bolt-on solutions, aiming for integrated and consistently high-quality systems built on open-source code.

These include sponsoring the Gastown Grand Prix with gender-equal prize money, employee volunteering and donations to local food banks, operating a private data center with net-zero carbon emissions since 2013, and funding marine mammal rescue.

Global Relay employs over 1,700 individuals across offices in Vancouver, London, New York, Chicago, Stockholm, Raleigh, Halifax, and Kelowna.
