Job Description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for delivering budgeted sales revenue across their allocated Western Australian territory, with a strong focus on the Perth metro area and surrounding regional centres.

This includes the Petrol & Convenience (P&C), Independent Grocery, Health, and non-traditional retail channels. The role is focused on both strengthening existing customer relationships and driving new business growth through strategic acquisition and effective onboarding.

You will…

  • Achieve monthly performance metrics including distribution, NPD penetration, and in-store visibility.
  • Develop and implement campaigns and promotions with key MSO customers, aligning activity with internal priorities and customer strategies.
  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities of scale.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Logistics to ensure seamless execution of plans.
  • Champion brand values and cultural consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Analyse performance results and market insights to continuously refine territory strategies.
  • Contribute innovative, creative growth ideas that challenge the status quo.
  • Deliver revenue, margin, and contribution targets within your territory.

You have…

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or a related field (desirable).
  • Current Australian driver’s licence.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in FMCG business development.
  • Proven track record of developing, pitching, and winning new business.

Start Date: Immediately available - Can wait a notice period

Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia.
