Job Description
Client: CVS Health — Analytics & Behavior Change (A&BC) \u007C New York, NY / Hybrid
Engagement type: Contract-to-hire. Initial contractor engagement with planned conversion to full-time employment pending performance and mutual fit.
CVS Health’s Analytics & Behavior Change (A&BC) organization leverages advanced analytics, machine learning, and a hypothesis-driven approach to transform data into actionable, customer-centric insights across all CVS Health businesses — serving 100+ million customers.
As Senior Manager of Data Partnerships & Monetization, you will own the strategy and execution of CVS Health’s external data licensing portfolio while serving as the internal authority on strategic third-party data assets. This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role requiring someone equally credible with external healthcare analytics and technology partners, internal engineering teams, and senior business stakeholders — and who can operate with a high degree of autonomy.
External Data Licensing & Partner Management (~60%)
• Own end-to-end operational health of active data licensing contracts: tracking deliverables, schema changes, feed updates, and SLA compliance
• Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of data product specifications, schema changes, and release notes
• Coordinate between internal Data Engineering teams and external buyers to scope, communicate, and implement product enhancements
• Support the VP of Data Monetization in contract renewal and exploratory new partnership discussions
• Track and report on licensing revenue across internal scorecards and business reviews
• Plan, prepare, and facilitate quarterly business reviews with external partners
Strategic Data Sourcing & Internal Product Ownership (~40%)
• Act as primary point of contact for internal analytics teams seeking to leverage strategic third-party healthcare data assets
• Evaluate whether and how data can address new use cases; field questions on data contents, coverage, methodology, and appropriate use
• Maintain accessible documentation and FAQs to support self-service adoption by internal teams
• Monitor the ongoing health of data integrations and flag any data quality or coverage issues
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in data product management, partner management, analytics operations, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and manage multiple workstreams without day-to-day supervision
• Strong cross-functional communication skills — comfortable translating technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa
• Experience managing or supporting external client or partner relationships in a B2B data, analytics, or healthcare technology context
• Proficiency in SQL or equivalent data querying; comfort working with large, structured datasets
• Experience building and maintaining product or technical documentation
• Familiarity with data pipeline concepts, data schemas, and API-based data delivery
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in healthcare data, claims data, or health analytics platforms
• Familiarity with third-party healthcare data assets (e.g. IQVIA, Komodo, HealthVerity, Datavant)
• Experience supporting commercial or contract renewal processes in a data licensing or SaaS context
• Ability to independently run basic statistical analyses or data quality checks (Python, R, or SQL)
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar)
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a quantitative, analytical, or technical field (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Economics, or related discipline).
