Job Description

At Ignitis Group, we are assembling a dynamic team to harness the power of data across finance, operations, and sustainability domains. We are seeking a Lead Data Analyst with expertise in data modeling and data warehouse design, who can also drive analytical initiatives and automation. You will play a dual role in designing data architecture and providing insightful analyses that support strategic decisions. You will contribute to the creation of a green and secure energy ecosystem by:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to drive data-driven strategies and inform decision-making processes
  • Translating complex business requirements into user stories and technical specifications that guide analytics solutions
  • Developing automated processes to streamline data analysis and reporting, ensuring insights are delivered efficiently and accurately
  • Leveraging Python and SQL to build robust data pipelines, perform complex queries, and deliver high-quality analyses
  • Serving as a key advisor for analytical decisions, offering expertise in both data modeling and warehouse design
  • Designing data warehouse architectures, including star schemas, to optimize data storage and retrieval

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data modeling, data warehouse design, and star schema architecture
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for advanced data manipulation, analysis, and automation
  • Experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions and user stories
  • Excellent communication skills with the capacity to advise stakeholders on analytical decisions and data warehouse design
  • Proactive approach in managing projects and driving cross-team collaboration
  • A track record of successfully leading data-driven projects from concept to execution

Would be an advantage:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for creating compelling visual narratives
  • Knowledge of data governance and best practices to ensure data integrity and security
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric solutions or similar technologies
  • Experience in building and managing data models in DBT
