We’re looking for a top-notch, passionate Data Engineer in Argentina with an interest in translating business goals into concrete solutions. The Data Engineer provides technology solutions by architecting and developing enterprise systems using a variety of programming languages, tools, and platforms. This can range from building data platforms, data warehouses and web applications, to implementing reporting platforms.
The Impact You’ll Make:
- Design, develop and maintain complex data pipelines and systems to process large volumes of data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify data sources, and ensure data quality
- Architect data solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure, and meet business requirements
- Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data integration strategies
- Design and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders across multiple data streams
- Collaborate as part of a team to drive analyses and insights that lead to more informed decisions and improved business performance
- Work with other teams to ensure teamwork and timely delivery of client projects
What You’ll Bring to Us:
- +2 years of experience in a Data Engineering capacity
- Hands-on expertise with Apache Spark
- Strong experience with SQL
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience working with dbt for data transformation, modeling and testing
- Experience working in the cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Advanced English (speaking, reading, writing, and listening)
Nice to have:
- Understanding of Apache Iceberg or modern data lake technologies
- Experience with batch processing at scale
- Experience with any of Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift or BigQuery
- Workflow orchestration tools (Argo Workflows, Airflow, Dagster, or similar)
