Job Description
A review-focused position responsible for validating fund accounting deliverables and ensuring quality standards. While initially supporting preparation activities as needed, the role primarily performs detailed reviews of financial statements and supports complex accounting processes while serving as a technical resource for preparers. The position focuses on quality assurance, review oversight, and maintaining accounting standards across deliverables.
What you’ll do
- You’ll review and sign off on financial statements, NAV calculations, fund books, capital calls, and distribution workings while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- You’ll apply strong technical accounting knowledge to validate complex transactions, document exceptions, prepare error reports, and provide guidance and feedback to preparers on technical matters.
- You’ll support Account Managers in coordinating with cluster partners and clients, managing deadlines, deliverables, and workload planning within the team.
- You’ll contribute to process improvement initiatives, review operational procedures, and help develop best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- You’ll maintain client-specific knowledge, track work progress through timesheets, participate in required training programs, and perform other duties aligned with business needs.

Qualifications
About you
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- You bring 2–3 years of PE/FA experience and 3–5 years in the financial industry (or 4–5 years PE/FA and 5–6 years industry experience if partly qualified).
- You demonstrate strong proficiency in reviewing financial statements, validating capital calls, distribution workings, and fund records, with deep knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- You excel in analyzing complex transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance, applying advanced problem-solving skills, and leveraging intermediate Microsoft Office—especially Excel—for quality assurance.
- You embody a collaborative and professional mindset, providing technical guidance, maintaining detail-oriented processes, communicating effectively, and showing resilience with a “can-do” attitude under tight deadlines.
