Let’s start with the role
The Junior Content Specialist will execute the brand’s content across various online touchpoints namely website/app, app stores and blog, supporting all relevant communications of the local marketing and CRM teams. This role is focused on a range of content-driven activities, with a specific emphasis on optimizing the customer’s journey across our services and communication channels, as well as contributing to the successful fulfillment of all content-related requirements of the Betano brand.
As a Junior Content Specialist, you will:
- Contribute to plan and deliver the onsite editorial calendar on a monthly basis to ensure timely content delivery;
- Provide writing, editing and proofreading services for recurring or ad hoc copy requests, such as new offers or products, campaigns, newsletters, etc.;
- Generate on-site promotional content on all relevant fronts of the website & app;
- Work with local and international Marketing, CRM and other teams within the organization;
- Coordinate with the HQ Content team to fulfill inbound content-related tasks, such as operational content (Customer Support, KYC, Payments, CRM etc.), as well as Betting Terms updates, Legal Terms’ amendments, SEO requests, and other optimizations;
- Ensure content aligns with the brand’s tone of voice and style guide, produce and/or provide guidelines to publishers for native content creation;
- Monitor competition;
- Deliver editorial content for Betano Blog and our App Stores pages;
- Act proactively on new ideas on content formats and distribution;
- Support the Social Media team whenever needed, namely regarding the promotional calendar;
- Reply to our user’s feedback on app stores environment;
What you’ll bring:
- University Degree in Marketing / Communications / Media or other relevant fields;
- At least 2 years of agency/marketing/journalism experience;
- Ideally, a background in sports betting content creation and/or experience in sports/online sports editorial;
- Native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English;
- Strong understanding of digital/online technology and its application;
- Experience in content management systems (CMS) and SEO practices;
- Adeptness in working in a fast-paced environment;
- Self-motivated, flexible and a team player.
